The role of Vitamin D in the prevention of Coronavirus Disease 2019 infection and mortality

This article looks at the role of vitamin D in prevention of COVID 19 – they have found a link between deficiency and disease.

There is an Irish study that Mark has mentioned to me. However, I’ve not been able to get access to the actual article. A new report is here.

Unpublished Study

The UNPUBLISHED paper below suggests a worse outcome in Vit D deficiency from COVID19. To me the science in the paper makes sense. If anyone with knowledge on this is willing to read it and give me a view I can add your review here. Mark Stone offered the following:

“The Mechanism of Vitamin D is biologically plausible but aspects are just observational data. Direct clinical trials are needed”
