The government have expanded testing to include Nursing Home Residents (announced 29 April 2020) – however as of yet the above linked site does not give that option.
Local Staff Testing – Updated 27 April 2020
Following the national news coverage about the new online booking system for tests, we wanted to remind staff in Staffordshire and Stoke-on-Trent that they can continue to book their tests locally by emailing: covid19workforce@northstaffs.nhs.uk
This is for the testing at
Stoke City and Burton Albion football grounds, staff should not turn-up at
these sites without an appointment, as they will not be tested.
Staff and household contacts who are eligible for the test are:
- Symptomatic staff employed by the NHS, other public sector organisations and independent social care providers who are self-isolating; AND
- Symptomatic household contacts of the staff of the NHS, other public sector organisations and independent social care providers where the staff member is self-isolating
